  • The price is per group and includes 2 anglers. Adding a 3rd angler is $50 extra.

  • Yes, you will need a freshwater Texas fishing license. If you’re under the age of 17 you do not need a license. You can purchase this license online on the Texas Outdoor Annual app or at any sporting goods store in the area.

    Trips on Lake Austin will depart from the Loop 360 Bridge Boat Ramp (5019 N Capital of Texas Hwy, Austin, TX 78746 United States)

    Trips on Lady Bird Lake will depart from Festival Beach Boat Ramp (1903 Nash Hernandez Sr Rd, Austin, TX 78702 United States)

    Please note: Mansfield Dam Park and Loop 360 Bridge Boat Ramp are operated by the Travis County Parks Department. They charge $5 per person to enter the park. They only accept cash or check; this is a separate fee not associated with Fishin ATX Guide Service.

    • Valid Texas fishing license (not required if client is under the age of 17)

    • Weather-appropriate clothing

    • Sunglasses/hat/sunscreen

    • Snacks (optional)

    • Personal fishing rods/reels/tackle (optional)

  • 15-20% of the total cost of the trip.

  • Three anglers is the maximum my boat can fit. Any amount over 3 creates an unpleasurable fishing experience.

  • I will not cancel fishing trips for light to moderate rain. The start and end time might change in order to avoid rain, that will be decided within 12-24 hours of the trip. Dangerous weather like heavy rain, lightning, or high winds may be cause for cancellation/rescheduling.

    You will receive free cancellation or rescheduling if I’m notified more than 7 days before the date of your trip. Cancellations with less than 7 days' notice, including no-shows, will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

  • No, unless you want to. I have all the tackle, rods, and reels necessary.

  • Catch and release is strongly encouraged, but legal harvest is allowed (please contact me ahead of time if planning on keeping fish). Please note: A personal rule of mine is that all largemouth over 4 pounds must be released. If planning on keeping fish, please bring your own cooler, ice and know that I do not fillet fish for clients.

  • Yes, children above the age of 5 are welcome.

  • I provided both spinning and baitcasting rods. My spinning reels are ambidextrous and super easy to cast. My baitcasting reels are all right handed, left handed baitcasters will have to be brought by the client.
